How to avoid reggeton promotions.

As I've planned to use Spotify Free for a long time since more than a month ago, I'm getting sick of a load of promotions using Reggeton music I hate. Is there a way for Spotify developers to remove these adverts and derivative promotions I don't want to hear/see when I listen my music? My musical tastes are very eclectic (classical, symphonic and progressive rock, 70s rock, New Wave, 60s oldies...) but some things I don't like in this world are rave, eurotrance, rap and reggeton (whatever it's called) music. Sorry for people who love them, but these are my personal tastes.

Why Spotify don't seem capable to adopt ads and promotions when we are using their app to our musical likes? Thank you

Sorry to hear that you're getting promotions for music you don't like on the app.

Can you clarify if you're talking about ads which are played roughly every 30 minutes while using the app on your phone, or about the recommended songs you see in your Spotify generated playlists. We'll do our best to explain why this might be happening and help you sort it out.

I'm only using Spotify in my computer. The fact is I'd like all adverts and promotions used every 30 minutes or so, when I still enjoy Spotify Free, contain tunes and signatures in the same way I listen one kind of music: Classical music, for example. If I hear, just one mention, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, I'd rather prefer to hear adverts about classical music, not anything completely different I don't like mostly (reggaeton music as I stated in my first post).

If I'm listening classical rock from 70s or 80s, I'd rather prefer to find/hear ads & promotions about rock music. And so on.

If my personal circumstances were different, I could apply again to Premium account (I cancelled it two months ago), but for now I have to resign myself to get adverts from time to time when listening my favourite music from your platform.
