How to download a song

I have a Premium account (about 3 hours ago), using the Web player on a laptop and not a very experienced user.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

In this case, we'd like to add some insights. Keep in mind that you can download as many as 10,000 tracks on each of up to 5 different devices, but you can’t download individual songs; you'll need to put them in a playlist and download the playlist. Remember that the content you downloaded is not going to be stored on your computer as files, but only to listen to when you're using the app in offline mode.

On another note, it's not possible to download content on the web player; this is only possible if you have installed the desktop app version, which includes other interesting features as well. You can download the desktop app for Windows here and for Mac here.

Lastly, once you've downloaded and installed the desktop app version, you can select the playlist you'd like to listen to offline and locate the green arrow to start the download process. You can see all the steps in this article.
