I can't play songs from a certain artist

I can't play songs from a certain artist

They aren't greyed out, no error message comes up, but they won't play on any of my devices. I have a family plan and other members of the family can play the artist but I cannot. Please help

Hey @1howell,

 

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community. 

 

There are a few possible reasons as to why a song might not play on your devices.

First off, we'd recommend that you check if you've blocked this artist in the past. Go to the artist's name and click on the three dot menu. If you've blocked it - you'll see the option "Allow to play this artist" , tap on it and test again if you can play the songs. Please make sure to use mobile device while doing this. 

Another option is that the songs you see are marked as Explicit and you have that type of content filtered off. You can read more about that here.

Lastly, it's possible that the songs themselves were marked as "Don't play this'' at some point - and if that's the case you can follow the steps here to unmark them.
