I hear ads while listening to podcasts.

The name of the thing that I'm listening changes to ,,ad" and I hear an ad. I'm not paying premium to get ads, cmon guys. Please switch it off on my account

Hi! I'm sorry for the frustration. Are the commercials you are hearing part of the podcast--something that the creator of the podcast is recording and including as part of the program? If so, those would not be edited out by Spotify based on subscription.

You will probably have gotten an answer to your problem. 
Therefore, this answer is for the people looking for solutions to the raised problem. Spotify's premium "ad-free" account covers the music side and music side only. You WILL get ads when you're listening to podcasts because of their efforts to help content creators "monetize" their channels and episodes. If you're truly seeking an ad-free platform, for both music and podcasts, Spotify isn't for you.
