This type of issue with Audiobooks is commonly related to some damaged cache stored on your device. In this case we'd first recommend logging out from the app and logging back in twice in a row to force the sync between your account and your device.

 

If the issue persists, we'd also recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This process will replace all damaged files and ensure you're running the latest app version.

 

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
