Jam fonctionnality - Crossfade gap

Jam fonctionnality - Crossfade gap

Hello,
I noticed that on the Jam functionality when it is activated on several devices, it is necessary that the crossfade of each of them is identical otherwise the music skips during the first seconds of playback to stall.
Would it be good if this were corrected by taking a crossfade as a "reference" for example ?
Thanks a lot 🙂

Hi there @Jofarix!

If I understood you correctly, if one of the devices has crossfade set to, let's say 3 sec, and all others have it turned off, the other devices will wait for the 3-second crossfade before outputting audio, correct? Does this occur on a specific platform (for example the mobile app), or are you able to reproduce this on other platforms as well?

In any case, a short screen recording, along with the exact version of Spotify you're running would be greatly appreciated - that way, we can get a clear view of what's happening on your end.

Cheers 🤘
