Keep queued songs

Wether or not queued songs have been kept when "starting a song right away" (double click on desktop and click on touch screen mobile players) has been different across times and platforms. I'ts really disappointing when my entire queue dissapears regardless of it being a mistake or ignorence of how the current platform works.

What i want is for the queue to persist when changing what playlist/album/search result is currently playing.

I can understand that other users handle queues differently and as a solution this could be customizable via the settings or a button "Clear queue" could be added in the Queue view. 

On a related note; when starting a song from the queue, that is not on the top of the queue I dont want the queue to remove everything before that song - I want that song to move to the top of the queue OR be copied to the top of the queue (makes less sense). 

Example:

Queue:
Song1
Song2
Song3

So when double clicking on Song2 I want the playing order to be: Song2, Song1, Song3 (alternatively Song2, Song1, Song2, Song3, but as I wrote this makes less sense).

One of the reasons this affects me is that the queued songs just dissapear, theres no way to see "skipped queued songs" or "requeue" or such. I have to go trough all the places I might have queued from and go through all the songs in those searches/playlists/albums and queue them all over again. And this takes time.
