My Question or Issue
I have been searching for a while on how to leave/remove myself form a playlist, and found a bunch of answers and comments that says to just go to de playlist, the context menu (...) and just tap "leave playlist", but this options does not show neither in desktop or mobile app. I removed it form my library, unfollow, unlike, but my profile still shows up in the playlist, and that's what I don't want. Obviously I'm not the creator and I don't want to be seen in the playlist.
Hey there @sebabas11,
Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.
For starters, we suggest you log out and log in twice in a row onto your Spotify account. This could sound a little bit odd, but this way the system will force a resync of your account in general.
If this should persists, we'd like you to take into account the following:
Now, keep in mind even if you remove a playlist from your library, it's expected to see it on your Home Page in the recently played section if you listened to that content recently.
That being explained, we'd like to check:
Keep us in the loop!
I’m having this same issue, I’m on iPhone and in the collaborative playlist I’m trying to leave there is no three dot option next to my profile picture and the only three dots do not have an option to leave the playlist at all. I just don’t want any association with the playlist at all whatsoever.
Hey there @bella_u,
thanks for posting in the thread!
Could you try leaving the playlist from another device to see if it the option appears? If possible, we recommend using a desktop device.
It's also worth double-checking who's listed as the playlist creator. Should another user be the creator, you should be able to both leave as a collaborator and remove the playlist from Your Library. If you've created the playlist by yourself, however, you can first make the playlist Private and then delete the playlist from your account.
Should you still experience issues, could you send us a video or photo showing how things look from your end?
Let us know how you get on.

My Question or Issue
Hello,
A while ago, a friend shared one of their playlists with me on Spotify. However, after a recent disagreement, I find myself emotionally affected every time I see that playlist still showing up in my app. I've tried several ways to remove it, including clearing the cache, but nothing has worked so far. I would really appreciate any guidance on how to remove this playlist permanently, as I’d like to avoid any reminders related to this person. Thank you very much for your help and understanding.
