One week ago this album was on Spotify, now it's gone. What happend?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Woohoo just checked, they're here too - actually, as far as I can tell there's now even more content than before... Tour of the Universe and a couple of singles amongst other stuff. Thank you Spotify, just saved my work day:-)
Happiness! All DM albums and songs are back also here in Norway 🙂
YES! They are also back in Austria! Thanks for all the support!
I am wondering the same thing along with some other Depeche Mode albums like Black Celebration, Violator, Playing the angel and more!!
I listened to said album this weekend, and now it – along with several others – has disappeared. Not cool, Spotify!
Really bad!
Black Celebration, Songs of Faith and Devotion, Construction Time Again, Playing the angel, Sounds of the Universe, Some Great Reward, Violator, Exciter as well as all live albums are all gone from Spotify. Last week they were there.
Why?!!
A really big disappointment.
Some answers from Spotify officials would now be appropriate, really fast...
Or even better; put the songs back!
I thought the idea of spotify be adding more songs, not take them away ...
There are other streaming services coming up fast, like iTunes radio, so spotify is not the only option...
If spotify continue to mess with us customer, I think its not only me who want my money back...
They are available on the google service. An explanation would be good.
They are also available on WiMP. It seems like Spotify is the only service where they are removed!
Several DM albums are suddenly missing from their catalogue on Spotify. Is this a technical problem or a copyright issue? Please post an explaination you Spotify moderators. For many people this is very important.
I'm not sure where everybody's from in this post, but here in the U.S., we still have all the Depeche Mode albums, or at least most of them as far as I can tell. I would have to assume it's a licensing issue and not a technical problem since they are showing up here, but I can't say for sure. Hopefully they will reappear for you guys because Depeche Mode truly are one of the greats in the music industry.
In the interest of clarifying things: I'm situated in Denmark!
The missing albums are back for me now (in Sweden)!
Thanks!

Maybe it's a way for Spotify to don't have to pay the artists? Now all albums that were gone are reseted and it looks like people never have listen to Depeche Mode... Hope the counter for how much they should be paid lyes on another server but has anyone external access to the big log?
Hi there! Found this thread while searching for why "Sounds Of The Universe" is the only album missing from the otherwise complete discography, at least here in Germany. Are people from other countries seeing this album? I see the track listing when I open the Spotify URL in the browser, but in the app, the tracks are not there. Given that it is the only album missing, this feels like an accidental omission. It's also not one from the very early days or so, it's just one from somewhere within the discography. Even "Touring the Universe" is there.
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game and get…
