Main Versions of Songs Available, Other Versions Not

Solved!

Main Versions of Songs Available, Other Versions Not

Hey Everyone,

I'm guessing there's no way to fix this but i'm very curious. It seems that even when an artist or song is available on spotify, many versions (like all the remixes of songs - take Gareth Emery, for example,) are not available. Does anyone know why some versions of songs seem to be licensed but others not? Thanks in advance!

Not every album or song is available on Spotify.

The availability of music on Spotify is up to the artist and their music label.
Spotify has no control over what content is available.

Sometimes it is only available in certain countries, while access is blocked to others.

Yeah, part of me figured that's the answer I would get. It's just annoying when you're listening to a curated spotify playlist and a good number of the songs are no longer available. Either way, thanks again!
