My Question or Issue

 

I am a new Family Premium Spotify User. I have a Marantz M-CR610 which has Spotify. I want to send music to it from the Spotify App on my Mac which tells me I need to log onto Spotify on the Marantz device so that I can see it in the list of connected devices. But when I log onto Spotify on the Marantz it says I need to have a Premium Account.  I am doing something wrong or is there a solution to this catch-22 please?

I think I've solved my own problem!

 

I updated the firmwear on the Marantz and the Spotify Online option has been removed.

 

Now I can just switch the Marantz into Music Server mode and it shows up in my list of connected devices when I run the spotify app on my mac. music coming through loud and clear 🙂
