My phone is playing music from my wife's phone

When my wife's iphone is playing music on Spotify app , it will play via Bluetooth on my Android phone. I do not have the app open and do not have my phone LINKED to hers. In addition, when she closes the app, it randomly starts the app and music again. This is very bad considering it does it in public while phone is in her purse.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

It seems your wife and you are logged in the same account on both phones. You can logout the account from all devices as described here and then login only on the device you're using. 

Are you deliberately sharing the same Spotify account with your wife or you have a Family/Duo subscription? If the latter, you need to first make sure everyone is logged out of the app. The Family members can then use their own login data do access their own accounts. This will prevent future account confusion.
