No discount applied when attempting to redeem Google Nest Mini offer

I received the e-mail 

Your Premium subscription includes a Google Nest Mini. Claim yours while supplies last.
I clicked the "Claim Yours Now" button

Went through the Google Process (linking accounts)

Picked my colour

Was told that discount would be applied at check-out

Had to enter Card Details

Suprise suprise - the discount wasn't applied. I had to cancel the order

No idea how to fix this. Any suggestions welcome

This is what happened to me also but I realised when it was too late to cancel and the order had arrived! I called customer services Last week and after being on hold for around 30 minutes I spoke to an advisor who agreed to raise it with a supervisor for me. I then received an email a few days ago asking for screen shots of my confirmation email, code etc which I supplied. I have since received an email today confirming my refund. All in all very impressed with how quickly it was handled!
