No longer able to tick tracks liked

No longer able to tick tracks liked

For the last few days, I have no longer been able to tick tracks that I like.

I have tried restarting both Spotify and my Macbook, but the function does not return.

Any advice on how to restore that function?

Hey @lindsc1

Are you seeing hearts in place of the plus signs?

If yes, these do the same thing. Click on a heart symbol on a song and it will be added to your Favourite Songs (which was just Songs before).

If you're not seeing that, please give me a screenshot on what you're seeing. 🙂

Looking forward to your reply!

Ah, ignore my last message. You have answered here.
I am seeing heart options on playlists like Discover Weekly and Release Radar.
However, when I go into individual albums/tracks from elsewhere, there is no heart option.

I was just about to answer to you there 😄

I'd suggest reinstalling your Spotify client, it looks like it needs a little refresh.

Follow this article as a guide on how to!

Let me know how it goes!

Hi there, thanks for the advice. Reinstalling didn't help - but I did find out why I can't tick any more tracks!

There is a blue message at the top saying: "Epic collection, friend. Your library is all filled up. To save more, you'll have to remove some songs."

So basically Spotify is telling me I can't ever like anything again!

I listen to albums and tick the tracks I like and want to keep them ticked so I don't have to listen to them again and have a record of how many tracks on each album I liked.

So Spotify is therefore useless for that purpose, which is a shame! Seems a bit strange that they put a limit on how many tracks I am allowed to like in a lifetime...

I don't have any suggestions what you could do to bypass that, you've made the feature very useful. 🙂
I suggest adding your vote and feedback to this idea. Hopefully it will be implemented soon!
