No problem, just a question.

No problem, just a question.

No problem, just a question.
Is it possible to indicate at the bottom of the playback the song that is playing, which is linked to this song in the playlist?

Is it easier to find the song when you restart Spotify because then it goes back to #1 in the list while at the bottom the last song played is still there?

Okay so if it has the playlist number 51 take it down to the song that is playing.

It is so that if you restart Spotify that the playlist is displayed again from number 1 while at the bottom it is still playing number 51 (for example) Then you can easily get to that song in the laylist.

Hi @rdj1410,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

You can already achieve a similar effect in the app:

  • Desktop: clicking the cover art of the currently playing song would take you to its position in the album/playlist.
  • Android: you can tap the playlist/album title at the top of the Now Playing view instead.Yordan_0-1686039702511.png

As for iOS, tapping the playlist/album title at the top of the Now Playing view will always take you to the beginning of the playlist. If you have an idea about improving this experience, you can share it on our Idea Exchange board. Others can then show their support by adding their votes and sharing their feedback.

In case you meant something else, feel free to elaborate further so we can get a better understanding of what you were referring to.

Take care.

this is not exactly what i mean and also this is not compleet working.

what i mean is when number one is playing from my playlist to put number 1 also below where the song is playing

Hey there @rdj1410,

Thanks for the reply.

It's currently not possible to have the number of the songs inside the playlist displayed in the Now Playing View. As @Yordan suggested, you can create an Idea about such a feature. If other users like it and add enough votes to the Idea, the developer team at Spotify will consider implementing it.

Hope this clears things up.
