No sound on iTunes playlist

No sound on iTunes playlist

Hi all, I hope someone can solve this mystery...

 

There is no sound on my imported iTunes playlist.

 

The files are m4a and I have Quick Time Player installed for that reason.

 

The spotify songs work fine.

 

Am I missing something obvious? (I have of course checked the volume on both spotify and the PC)

How did yourememdy the problem?  I see that you posted this awhile ago, so hopefully you recall the steps taken.

Thank you for replying

The problem is only on my older computer baught in 2010 with Windows Vista.
Perhaps that has something to do with it.

It worked fine to import iTunes playlist and the songs start just fine. But
with no sound.
I have of course checked that it spotify or the computer sound is not on
mute.


Thank you for your reply....I, in fact, have an older computer, too. I'm
going to tyr doing all of these steps from the beginning on my new laptop
and will cross my fingers for success!
