My Question or Issue

Spotify no longer works with Google home. When I try to play music, the speaker gives me a "something went wrong" error. I tried restarting the speaker, unlinking my spotify account, unlinking my Google account, restarting my phone, updating my phone, reinstalling spotify. Other apps work fine with the speakers, so the problem is Spotify. This has been a recurring problem for over a year, but this is the first time I have been unable to resolve it.

Just to double check- the issue occurs when you try using the voice commands or playing a song via Connect?

 

It's a good idea to make sure that the speakers are up-to-date. We'd suggest you also try with another connection.

 

If the issue persists, you can try with another device. Are there any changes?
