One Specific Album Wont Play PS4

One Specific Album Wont Play PS4

Weird one..

The album The Positions by Gang of Youths (**bleep**ing fantastic by the way), doesn't play on my PS4 under any circumstances. This is the only album/song I've encountered that plays silence and it's just really bizzare.

As soon as I change it to play on my phone, desktop app, web player etc.. it plays fine. But you set the output to the PS4 and it appears to play but there's no sound.

Then if you go and search for the album within the Spotify app on the PS4, I get the same thing, it still plays nothing.

Every single up until Magnolia plays fine. So Restraint & Release, Benevolence Riots and earlier all play on the PS4 fine. But Magnolia and onwards.. nothing..

Does anyone get the same thing? Can you guys test it out? Is there a problem here we can fix?

Ever get this one sorted? I'm having g the same/similar problem with the exact same album. Can't stream Gang of Youths to my multiroom speaker. Plays directly through smartphone, tablet etc. Just won't stream to other devices. As like you, only happening with The Positions, their live Spotify session works fine.

Hey,

We have the exact same problem.  This album is so awesome but it just won't play through any of my devices onto my ChromeCast set up.  It will play on my Mac, and on my iphone no worries at all, but as soon as I connect to ChromeCast I get nothing, zip, nada.

SOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!

Was this issue ever fixed? Have tried multiple work arounds, resetting chromecast, you name it. Just seems to be this one album

Same thing here! Cannot for the life of me get it to stream through my hifi (receiver is a Cambridge Audio CXN), which is frustrating as I'd love to be able to hear it over a decent pair of speakers!
