Only shuffle on Windows phone despite Premium

Hi. After a recent update to the app on Windows Phone 8.1 the only option appears to be shuffle play. It is no use to press the button and there appears to be no way to change this to regular, linear playing. Is there a way around this? I have tried logging out and in and I have been a Premium subscriber for almost all this year. The app version is 4.0.5351.32022

Hey there.

 

It's a button to start fast playback with random stuff on list.

 

If you go and click to Play View, you should see a option to turn shuffle off.

 

Shuffle= Shuffle Button

I've got this problem as well. I just want to play an album in song list order, not have it jump up and down the songs on the album.

I have the same problem, and I'm also a premium subscriber.

I have just reinstalled the app, and I'm still having trouble.

Do you use right account details for lonig? A details with Premium service purchased into account.

I am using the only login I have, and is Premium. I can even listen to my playlists offline.

Mind posting a screenshot of one of your playlists @weberson ?

Follow the screen of one of my playlists. See that there is only the option of playing in shuffle mode (in my case in portuguese "Ordem aleatória").

I think that option could be configurable, because it's a little confusing. But OK, thank you very much for your help.

Hi. Yes. This works. Thank you. It is a bit confusing to turn it of this way and I suggest that the option should be more visible in menus.

I never found that button inspite of being on the screen for 5 mins 🙂 how odd. who is the usablity professional in spotify ?

who are develepors for windows apps? Please reveal their names. I Will leave spotify the moment I find a better service provider. as of now there is no one.

I had the same problem. I'm on Premium with 3.7.0.833 for Android and toggling Shuffle had no effect at all. It would always shuffle regardless of the setting. After reinstallation it works.

I don't have a play view option to switch off the shuffle mode so currently I am still very puzzled how should I solve this problem. My app version is 5.1.5529.26509 and my windows phone OS is at windows 8.0.10532.166. Thanks a lot 🙂

Hi.

 

My mom had the same issue on her phone after upgrading to Premium. I've just uninstalled and installed the app again and it works perfectly! Windows Phone 8, Nokia Lumia 635. She can tap any song and play it.
