Others connected to my Sony speaker via Spotify Connect

Others connected to my Sony speaker via Spotify Connect

Hi,

I have a Sony SRS-X77 which works really well with Spotify and all, but there is a nuisance when it comes to Spotify Connect. Others can choose to play music on my speaker via Spotify Connect, even though they are not connected to the same network as the speaker. Some of them are playing music on my speaker even though I don't want them to. I had a party last weekend and I let some friends play music from their phones on my speaker. They were all connected to my wifi and chose my speaker via Spotify Connect, but they used their own Spotify accounts. The problem is that now when they are not here, nor connected to my home network, they can still choose my speaker as a source.

I don't want others to be able to play music on the speaker in my home without my permission while they are somewhere else and not connected to my network. How do I fix that? Is there some way, without having to do a factory reset on the speaker, to remove their access to my speaker? Or is the only way to "solve" this to never let anyone get access to my network?

There doesn't seem to be any settings that can prevent this on the speaker itself.
