Philips Streamium - Library too old - Message and no Spotify Connect

Hello, since December 2015 # Philips NP3900 Streamium client don't work with Spotify. Is this a problem with the new FW-Version (V G5.75S) on the device or changes by Spotify? Error: Library too old - Has anyone else this problem?

Sorry... bad news. It seems to be a license problem between spezial Philips devices and Spotify. I obtain this answer after a call with Philips (Germany). Philips does not support longer Spotify on NP-Series.

Es handelt also nicht um ein Problem, sondern um die nicht Erneuerung der Lizenz zwischen Spotify und der NP Reihe von den Philips Stremium Geräten.

Wir bedanken uns für Ihr Verständnis möchten uns für die Unannehmlichkeiten mit dem NP3900 entschuldigen.

This is really bad news.

If Philips Spotify no longer supported on the Streamium devices, then the devices are partially unusable.

I have the problem with the error message "Library too old!" on my MCi 8080/12. After several attempts I was able to sign in to Spotify but although again no playlists have been displayed.

In Philips support forum they could me so far also not help. However, since apparently the license issue is not known.

Wow... today it's working again!
