[Playlists] Add to most recent playlist

[Playlists] Add to most recent playlist

There should be an add to recent playlist button. When making a playlist, you shouldn't have to scroll through the entire list of playlists to find the one you are making (ease of use). It would allow you to carry on searching songs and be able to add them to the most recent one that you are currently making.

Hey @Y3m1,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the ideas section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

That being said, we'd like to add some insights. When you create a playlist, it automatically appears at the top of your list of playlists. In the desktop app, you can see it in the left panel of the screen, where you can see all the playlists you've created. When adding tracks to your playlists and using the feature "Add to a playlist", you can see the same order your playlists are sorted in on the left panel. You can place the playlist you want to add songs to at the top, so you'll see it first.

On mobile, it works with the same logic (if you've pinned some playlists or folders at the top of your library, they remain pinned and unchanged). When adding songs, you'll see the most recent playlist created at the top and the other ones appear as sorted in your library.

You can re-posted in our Ideas Board, if you think your idea should be considered as separate; but take into account you must follow our guidelines for submitting ideas, so your suggestion will be approved more quickly and smoothly.

Be as specific as you can when submitting it, and keep in mind that only one modification request per idea is permitted. If you have another suggestion, please submit it as a separate idea. Always remember to check if someone else has posted something similar, so you can vote for it.

If anything else comes up, the Community will always be here for you.
