Podcast turns silent after ad at end of episode

Podcast turns silent after ad at end of episode

When I listen to podcasts that have ads popping up before/during/after episodes (Distractible podcast is the one I’m having issues with) after the last ad plays and then goes to the next episode, it starts playing but silent. The timer still counts like it’s playing but no sound comes out. Then if I try to pause/play the episode it will jump back to the beginning of the episode and play from there still silent again. I have a video of this but it won’t allow me to attach it?
The only way to get the sound back is to restart the app or skip forward or backward 15 seconds.. which is rather annoying as I listen whilst trying to go to sleep so I have to get up and mess around trying to get it to work again. But then the issue just continues at the beginning of next episode.

I have the same issue, also i have to "terminate" the app (latest ios), and start all over again, happens after in between podcast, and always starting the commercials over and over. pretty annoying when the podcasts are divided in episodes of half an hour just to cram in as much commercials as possible.

Hey, how are you? Can you try to do what I suggested? Maybe it will work! If not, keep me updated, it will be a pleasure to help you 🙂
