Podcasts won't sync between ios devices

Solved!

Podcasts won't sync between ios devices

I'm not able to sync podcasts between my iPhone and iPad. If I go onto 'new episodes' on my iPhone and mark episodes as played this doesn't reflect on my iPad, which means I have about two months worth of 'unplayed' episodes on my iPad - despite the fact they have been played, or marked as such.

Also if play an episode on either device and then come back to it later on the other it doesn't continue where I left off.

It's been an issue for a couple of months now. It's a small thing but annoying - I'd greatly appreciate anyone's help

Thanks

Hey there @Touchoffrost84

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

First up, we suggest that you try logging out and then logging back in to your account on your iPad twice in a row. We know this sounds odd, but it'll trigger a sync between your device and account.

If this doesn't do the trick, it's well worth running a clean reinstall of the app on your iPad to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.

Let us know how it goes.
