Problem with Facebook Share

Hi everyone! I'm posting here because I've a problem and I don't know what to do in order to solve it.

When I share a song with my Facebook account, the post appears in my Facebook page, but when I try to reproduce the music through the player in it the song doesn't start.

Can you help me, please?

Yes. I press the start button from the fb post and it seems that it loads, but then the song doesn't start.

Is the Spotify app running? It should be. Or, try right-clicking and clicking"open in new tab" and it will open the web player. Also, try reinstalling the desktop app. It fixes most problems. You should follow the guide in the link correctly. Hope this helps 🙂

If I open the link (from the Facebook post) with Web Spotify Player it works.

But I don't understand why it doesen't work on the Facebook page.

When I share, for example, a YouTube video, I can see it in the Facebook page also and not only if I open it in another page on the web.

No problem with my Desktop app... Maybe I didn't explain the problem very well... If it's so, I apologize but I'm not English.

Hi! To play songs outside the web player(for example, facebook), the desktop app should be open. Because, playing on the facebook page will trigger the desktop app to play the song. Is the "SpotifyWebHelper" process running? Is your Spotify app running? If yes and the song doesn't play, try reinstalling. It might fix problem. You should follow the guide in the link correctly.
