im looking for:

 

someone who can help me get a spotify account logged out inside of a banned playstation account

 

Sony told me to come here and talk to spotify support. as you can imagine, ive already seen what spotify FAQ has to say (talk to playstation support)

 

is there a less circular solution?

Hi Jasonscottq8,
Make sure you are signed into spotify in your web browswer, then follow the link below:
https://support.spotify.com/us/article/how-to-log-out/

From that link, scroll down to where is says:

"Note: This doesn't include partner devices (e.g. speakers, games consoles, and TVs), so for those go to your apps page and choose REMOVE ACCESS."

Click on the URL that reads "your apps page" and from there, you should be able to "Remove Access" from your PlayStation counsel

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

 

Since you don't have access to the PSN account linked to your Spotify account, PlayStation support are the right folks to help you with this. I would first recommend contacting PlayStation support via a different channel (either the PlayStation support site or the @AskPlayStation account on Twitter).

I did contact themโ€ฆand since i dont have access to the account, they recommended using Spotify support lol

Not sure what to do about that ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

If neither of the PlayStation support channels were able to help, I suggest creating a new Spotify account.

 

You can find the steps to transfer your content from one account to the other in this FAQ article.
