Remove auto dimming on Roku app or make it a setting

I have a TV out on my covered deck I use for Spotify, and since the last app update on my Roku TV Spotify starts to auto dim the screen. This really sucks outdoors in the direct light. Also the facts that the lyrics are auto dimmed too is kinda weird. 

I don’t think it’s a bad setting but I would like to see it as an option in the app or honestly reverted.

That being said, we’d like you to know that this is more related to your Roku settings than Spotify. We’ve located some steps that might help you change this behavior:

1. Press Home on your TV remote.
2. Scroll and select Settings.
3. Select TV picture settings.
4. Select TV brightness.
5. Select Auto to enable ambient sensing (if your set has this option) or select a constant brightness level.
6. Press OK on your remote.

If the above doesn’t do the trick, we’d recommend reaching out to Roku Customer Support, so they can help you check what might be happening and offer further insights.

Nope there’s no auto option, and it’s set to brightest. Spotify just sets its to darkest after a few seconds and if I press any button it goes back to normal. This only occurs with Spotify.

Hi! This definitely isn’t a Roku setting issue, I tried every single Roku setting and cannot stop it from dimming after about 5 seconds. It shouldn’t bother me but it really does haha, please help/fix

Having the same issue, really frustrating cause it affects the colors of my ambient light that is determined by what colors/brightness the tv is showing.
