Reordering tracks with a playlist by drag/drop or cut/pate

I just created a new playlist and want to reorder the tracks therein.  I tried using the drag/drop and the cut/paste (Control X/Contro V) methods, but neither works.  Both work on other playlists I've created, but not for this new one.  What gives?

Look at the top columns of the playlist and make sure you don't have it sorted.

Look at the columns and see if there is a green up or down arrow next to one of them.

Click on this column (or any column) 2 times to get back to the standard sort

Then you should be able to drag and drop tracks
