Repetitive Emails

Repetitive Emails

Hello, I didn’t know where this topic would go but I have a bit of a unique issue. So I am on the student discount, and recently Spotify asked me to re-verify that I’m a student for the year.

 

I think somehow this confused their system into thinking that I’m a new member or something because I immediately began getting emails congratulating me for choosing Spotify premium, lol, even though I’ve had it for years.

 

The main issue is that now I’ve gotten 5 of these emails in the past week, saying pretty much the same thing  (see screenshot).780D9FA4-C9A9-4E02-8860-F143BEAF4712.png

 

 

 

 

I haven’t seen anyone else’s talk about this so I thought I’d bring it up myself. I don’t want to unsubscribe from emails. I would still love to get semi regular emails with new features, reminding me of playlists or artists near me, pretty much anything. I’m happy to hear from Spotify, I just find these repetitive “welcome” emails annoying since I’m not a new member. Anyone else experiencing this?

Try going to your Notification settings here, unchecking all options, clicking Save, and then re-checking the ones you want. 

 

Alternatively, try unsubscribing from those notifications at the bottom of the emails you've been receiving and then resubscribing.
