Samsung Gear Sport Watch - Spotify App Not Found

I was previously using an iPhone 7+ and paired it with my Samsung Gear Sport watch. This worked fine, as I was able to download the Spotify App, download offline playlists, etc. Over the weekend, my new iPhone X arrived so I had to wipe the watch and re-pair it with the new phone. After installing the Gear App, I tried downloading the Spotify app again and got a message reading "This device does not support Gear". Anyone else running an iOS device and upgrading to an iPhone X experience this same problem?
