I want to block the control panel on my lock screen. It’s frustrating when people can pick up my phone and switch the song

Hi there @Lonely_Gamer,

Thanks for reaching out. We've moved your post here, as it's not really a valid suggestion and it fits better here. You haven't told us your device, but in general, if you go to your phone's notification settings and block all the notifications, the playback bar on the lockscreen should disappear as well. If there is a specific toggle for lockscreen notifications specifically, then that one should suffice to remove the bar.

Hope this helps.

I’m on iPhone 7. I’ve tried blocking notifications, it doesn’t help

Hi there @Lonely_Gamer,

Thanks for your reply.

Go to Settings > Notifications > Spotify > Allow notifications, and make sure that option is disabled. Then go back to the main Settings > General > Background app refresh > Spotify and also disable it. Once done, restart the phone.

Or you can set up a Focus from your iPhone. This is an iOS feature that allows you to limit notifications that appear on the Lock Screen. More info on how this works can be found on the Apple Support page.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions.
