Setting a defult connected device

My Question or Issue

I am using a control system with the GUI being on the Samsung Andriod tablet.

The user clicks/presses the Spotify Icon within the software which has an "Open URL" action that opens the Spotify app installed on the device.

Every time this function is used and Spotify is opened, Spotify defults the playback device as the Samsung tablet and not the last (main and only required playback device) which in this case is an Integra AV Receiver, DRX 2.3.

This means the user has to manually go into the setting in the Spotify app and change the playback "Connected Devices" to Integra DRX2.3 each and every time they use it.  Not only is this very annoying but most users of the system do not relate to perfoming multiple setings changes.

I have two questions, Firstly and most improtantly, is there a way of making the Integra DRX2.3 the defult playback/connected device so it doesn't need to be manually changed each time the app is opened?

Secondly, the Integra DRX AV Receivers have two different ways of facilitating Spotify playback, one is the built-in ChromeCast and there other is the built-in Spotify app/software.  Which should I use?
