Does anyone know why Taylor's new single isn't on Spotify?!

For some reason spotify has never had Taylor Swift's "singles". Shake It Off is a hit single off the record, 1989, which is not out yet.  and even 2 years ago when the RED album came out it took them months, if not longer than a year to get that on spotify.

As mentioned before, it's not always up to us which songs appear on Spotify. 

Unfortunately licensing plays a big part in which music is and isn't on Spotify, and because of this, it isn't possible for us to have every track in the world available as soon as it's released.

Shake it off was on Spotify up till yesterday I think the 26th Sep now its saying not available - im guessing she being a diva and dont want people to listent to it and wants to make them go buy it so told spotify not to have it there any more - no wonder people illegally download music when artists are so god dam greedy like this.   Well thats the only explaination I can think of at least when it was on now its not cos think it was originally added by a BBC Singles album so might have slipped her greedy little fingers lol

Why spotify removed the Shake It Off Taylor Swift song?? The song just dissapeared in my playlist just like that and when I search for the song, it's doesn't even popped out. Anyone know what happened??

I have the same problem, and its not the first time this happend.
First I thought I was getting grazy,but now I'm sure. Spotify is removing music from my playlists!!

I don't want to get nasty here but I really CAN'T accept that music is disapearing from my playlist without even notifiyng me?!?! Why? At least send me a message so I know I don't have the song anymore.

Whats the explanation for this?

It hasn't been completely removed from your playlists - it's just not available at the moment. There is a setting to hide unavailable tracks under (on the Windows desktop application) Edit > Preferences > Playback > Hide unplayable tracks. Chances are this is enabled - disable this and it will show in your playlists but greyed out until it becomes available again, as frustrating as that might be. You still can't play it but at least you know it hasn't disappeared completely.

Gutted about Taylor Swift new tune being taken off my play list with me being informed? It was only put on a week or so ago now and to just take it off is not right! What am I paying for spotify? ?
