My Question or Issue

When selecting a filter at the top of my liked playlist, for example Indie, trying to shuffle between those filtered songs, Spotify still plays my complete catalog of songs. I see a post from 2018 about it, so maybe I can bring it back up to the forefront for a fix? Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out.

 

We've tested this on our end, however, we couldn't reproduce the issue. Keep in mind that if you start the playback before setting a genre filter, the app won't reduce the selection it shuffles from and will play the whole list instead of the new set of tracks.

 

If this happens when you click the Play button after choosing a filter, send us a short video of the issue along with your current app version and if possible, check if the same happens on a different device and/or account. 

 

If you've downloaded the app from our website, see if you get the same behavior in the Microsoft Store version and vice versa.
