My Question or Issue

When I set the sleep timer in the evening (15 minutes), the podcasts also stop after 15 minutes the following day when I play them. The app blocks, the player is partly not displayed. Deleting the cache, logging off, restarting the app - all this does nothing. The only thing that helps is restarting the mobile phone. That is annoying and not user-friendly.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

 

Let's first perform a clean reinstall, so we can be sure, that you have a fresh installation of the app on your phone. Here is how to do that.

 

It is also important to afterwards give Spotify the necessary permissions to run in the background. For a Samsung phone more is described here.
