Someone on my account and "sign out on all devices" won't work

My Question or Issue

A Spotify Connect notification popped up on my phone tonight, it said that sound was being sent to "Web Player (Chrome)". The problem was, it wasn't me. So i signed in on the desktop app, same thing. So i went to https://www.spotify.com/uk/account/overview/ , changed by password, and clicked on "Sign out on all devices". Logged back in on the app, and still "Web Player (Chrome)" is there. I start messing with the song choice, and the other user changed it back. I try signing in on the web/browser app on my own PC, and then in another tab I clicked "Sign out on all devices" - it only signs out on mobile and desktop apps, NOT web browser.

So I did the only thing I could think of. Searched spotify for "get off my". There's only so many times i can change the track to "get the **** of my ****" before it gets old....

update: they seem to have given up and are no longer showing up under the Connect device menu. I guess they aren't in my account anymore, and now the passwords changed, hopefully they won't be able to signin again.

Still, seems a bit odd that it coudln't force-sign out the web device, or allow me to boot them..
