Song has inconsistent stats on Spotify and Spotify for Artists

On the Spotify app, it says my song is sitting at 100K streams. If I check the stats for the same song on Spotify for Artists, it shows that the song is currently at 60K streams (which I know should be the correct amount). There's no details about how this sudden 40K increase happened, so it definitely has to be a glitch since this has happened before to other artists apparently. I tried to ask Spotify support for help, but even they didn't know what was happening.

In this case, it's best to reach out directly to Artist Support so that they can take a closer look at what might be happening.
