Spotify Connect / Yamaha pausing/stopping music

Spotify here it is, please fix the problem! this has been ongoing for too long now.

i'm using a Yamaha Rn402D, and paying for premium... give us premium support!

Hi Richard,

thank you for your request for the Spotify Connect feature.

The problem is known to us and we are in contact with Spotify to find a quickest possible solution.

Since Yamaha has made no changes, please contact Spotify Support too.

Hey @AceNitro87, help's here.

 

It sounds like you're having trouble while using the connect feature to your receiver. Is that correct?

 

Try restarting all your devices (and speakers). Also, make sure that:

  • All devices are on the same WiFi network.
  • Your Spotify app is up-to-date.
  • All devices’ software is up-to-date. If you don't know, check with your devices' manufacturers for how to update the version software.
  • If possible, try switching between different networks and see if that helps.
  • Log out everywhere (option found on your account page).
