Spotify Connect with LIMITED internet

Hi all,

I am trying to use spotify with my sonos play5 speaker while having wifi that is capped at 10GB and 512kbps. I have spotify premium and streaming is not an option. Anyone have good solutions?

Question: If i setup Laptop1 with spotify music available offline and connect it via AUX cable to the sonos speaker, then use spotify connect from my phone (or Laptop2) to control music on Laptop1 (which is set to offline), will it hog my data?

Does it matter whether the music being played is set to offline on the remote control device (phone or Laptop2)?
