My Question or Issue

I am using Onkyo TX-RZ830 to stream Spotify. Two questions. 

1-Is quality of streaming better with Spotify Connect compared to Chromecast or same? Volume of sound is low when using Chromecast for sure.

2- In both streaming methods, Spotify keeps disconnecting randomly. Both AV receiver and android device are on same wifi conneaction. All firmware and app version updated to latest. Any help would be appreciated.
