Spotify free account on Alexa to play a playlist on Amazon echo speaker

I am playing with a Spotify Free account and I have created some playlists. Am I able to play a playlist from Alexa on Amazon Echo Speaker? I tried but it failed to play the playlist. I am wondering if that is a Premium access feature?

We'd like to add some insights. So, keep in mind that you can use a free account and ask Alexa on your smart speaker for:

• Any artist, album or track to hear a music mix inspired by your choice. 
• Seemingly, your personal playlists to hear a playlist radio based on your mix.

You can learn more about it by reading this article. Keep in mind that music on-demand is a Premium feature, so it's expected for the app to play similar content instead of the specific content you've asked to play.
