Spotify mutes just before the song ends before it skips to the next only on my streamer

Spotify mutes just before the song ends before it skips to the next only on my streamer

Plan : Premium
Country :  Greece
Device : (I am using either Spotify app on Windows 10 Pro for my PC, or Spotify app on my Samsung A71 and an Audiolab 6000N streamer)
Operating System : (Android, Windows 10 Pro)

My Issue :

I am using Spotify on my streamer (Audiolab 6000N) for almost half a year now without any issues.

Since an update on my phone by the DTS's Play-Fi app that connects Spotify with my Audiolab streamer, Spotify stops (almost every time) near the end of each song, it goes mute for a few seconds and then it plays the last seconds normally, before it skips to the next song.
Furthermore, most of the times when I choose to skip the current song and press the next button or when I click on another song from another list, it takes much too long to respond before it stars playing.
This is happening ONLY when I am using Spotify to listen to music through my streamer, AND NOT when I am using Spotify on my PC speakers through the sound card nor when I am using Spotify on my headset on the phone's jack. My Audiolab streamer is wired via Ethernet on my router (I am not using WiFi) and my provider tested my router's speed which is fine. Besides I have no problems running Netflix or other services and the problem occurs even when Spotify is the only thing streaming in the house..
So it is unlikely a buffering issue, it has something to do with Spotify AND my Streamer.

It is a very annoying thing, so any help from a person who knows technical stuff or from someone who is aware and solved it, would be much appreciated.

Regards, Apostolos
