Hi - I'm getting the message...
"error
The audio could not be started. Please restart the application"
when I launch the app on my Lumia 950XL after I upgraded with the Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary update. I've seen others report this on other forums such as Windows Central.
Is anyone else experiencing this as it looks like a compatibilty issues following the Windows 10 Mobile Anniversay Update as it was working fine prior to that.
Hey @FredBloggs007,
You should try deleting and reinstalling the app. Hopefully that'll fix the issue.
Tried that and it didnt make any difference. However, the app worked fine 48hrs later... but it's stopped working again withe same error message. have tried to reinstall but no difference.
You should fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you within 24 hrs. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.
If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to support@spotify.com and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.
Thanks - I did fill out a support form, but got the same advise to delete and re-install, hence my question here...
I too have the same problem. It's jsut stuck at the loading screen since the anniversary update.
This happens when my battery is low. Try charging your battery about 40% and try the app again.
I have a similar problem, it says something like: "The Spotify-App got started with unknown options. These were ignored and die application will be started normally." Then I can choose "close" of the message and I get to the app, but unfortunately I am not able to connect by device with the other devices in the WiFi network. There needs to be something fixed I think, reinstall, restart, log off log in, nothing helped. Please don't neglect Windows 10 mobile.
