Spotify podcasts seeking forwards and backwards at twice the rate I ask for

Google Home (technically it’s Google Assistant integrated into a B&O speaker)

My Question or Issue

When I’m playing a podcast on Spotify on my Google Home and say “Hey Google, skip 2 minutes” it will skip forward 4 minutes instead. Same for if I say “Hey Google, rewind 10 minutes”, it’ll actually rewind 20 minutes, it’s so frustrating!

Does anyone have any idea why this happens and how to fix it?

I've searched in the Spotify Answers page, and there doesn't seem to be a solution to this.

But, I can suggest a few things.

First, try deleting the app/disconnecting Spotify from your Google Home (?) and reinstalling and connecting it back again.

Second, try clear reinstalling. Often times it doesn't fix the issue, but sometimes it does. You can follow the steps here. 

Third/If the first and second suggestions didn't work, you'll just have to divide the time you want to forward or backward by half, until it fixes, or a solution comes up.
