Spotify quits playing on Echodot

Spotify plays for about 10-15 minutes and then just stops playing when streaming via my Echodot.   Deleted and reinstalled Spotify on all devices, logged off of Spotify (deleted connection) to Alexa (Echodot) and re-connected.  Still does it.   Amazon Music, Apple Music and Pandora play all day.    Call Spotify?  they say its an echodot issue.   Amazon - says its a spotify issue.  Until you guys stop blaming each other,  I'm using another streaming service.   Who loses?  Spotify cause I'm still using my echodot. Numerous similar complaints on this and other forums with no resolution since 2016.
