Spotify stops playing at the end of each song (all platforms)

My Question or Issue

A couple of weeks ago spotify began stopping playback at the end of each song, there are always a couple of seconds left of the song when it stops.

I can press play and it will continue to play the next song, but then stop again at the end.

This happens on all the platforms I've tested (see above). It happens on all playlist and it doesn't matter if the songs are downloaded or streamed.
