Spotify stops playing on any device and the playlist is reset to 1st song.

Spotify stops playing on any device and the playlist is reset to 1st song.

Regardless of the device (e.g. iPhone, Windows 11 PC) or the app (Spotify or Sonos) I started playing a playlist or station from Spotify, it will stop mid-playlist. I get no error messages from any of the apps. All devices are on the same LAN. The doesn't happen with any other streaming music app.

Heya, so if your Spotify playback is stopping mid-playlist on all devices and apps, there may be several potential causes for the issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Check your internet connection: Poor or unstable internet connection can cause playback issues on Spotify. Check your internet connection speed and stability on all devices you're using to play Spotify.

  2. Log out and log back into your Spotify account: Try logging out of your Spotify account and then logging back in. This can help refresh your account information and potentially fix the issue.

  3. Clear your app cache: Clearing the cache of your Spotify app can help resolve any playback issues caused by a corrupted cache. You can do this by going to your app settings and clearing the cache.

  4. Check for updates: Make sure your Spotify app is up to date on all devices. You can also check for any available updates for your device's operating system.

  5. Disable any VPN or proxy connections: Using a VPN or proxy connection can sometimes cause playback issues on Spotify. Try disabling any VPN or proxy connections you have and see if the issue is resolved.

Give me a shout if it helped you out,
