Spotify will not play using Sound Bar

This week I purchased a new TV (UN55KS8000) and Sound Bar (HW-K850) setup.

I was super excited to have a medium that I could play Spotify in the main room of my apartment.

However, I've been having some difficulty getting it to play through the Sound Bar speakers. I can log in and play music without an issue through the native TV speakers. But the moment the Sound Bar is turned on, all audio stops. The song continues to play (as in I can see the progress meter continue to move forward). I can still pause, play, and skip songs, so the app itself doesn't freeze.

And the moment I turn the sound bar off and return the audio to the TV speakers, Spotify audio begins to play again.

Sound plays through the sound bar fine for every other app I have tried so far (Netflix, HBONow, Vudu, and Youtube) and through other sources (PS4). So with that in mind, it seems that the issue is isolated to Spotify.
