Spotify wont recognize my phone and my desktop are in the same network

My Question or Issue

im currently trying to get some .mp3 files from my pc on my phone to play on spotify, i ve added the files on my desktop and now im trying to get them on my phone but it wont recognize my phone and my pc are connected to the same fritzbox,  the pc is connected via a ethernet cable to a lan port ,a devolo lan range extender, but spotify wont recognize it being the same network, how can i fix this?

Hey @3X0karibu, help's here. 

We understand you already did this, but make sure all devices are on the same WiFi network. 

If that doesn't work, make sure that:

• Your Spotify apps are up-to-date. It might be an even better idea to reinstall for a fresh start.
• All devices’ software is up-to-date. If you don't know, check with your devices' manufacturers for how to update the version software.
• If possible, try switching between different networks and see if that helps.

Try using mobile hotspot to connect the devices to the same network if possible.

If there are too many local files, try with just a few, create a test playlist.
