Sub profile for parents

Right now ,afaik, it is not possible to differentiate the songs that I opened for my kid and the ones that I listen.

Were you playing from your personal Spotify account? If so, your listening activity might have affected your taste profile. Don't worry though, just continue listening to the stuff you enjoy and your recommendations will be adjusted accordingly.

In the meantime, below are some methods you can use to prevent this from happening in the future:

• Start a Private Session - When Private Session is on, your listening activity won't be shared with your followers, and any songs that are listened to won't have an effect on the Spotify algorithm. More info here.
• Exclude certain playlists from your taste profile - past and future listens from these playlists will have less impact on your taste summaries and recommendations. You can do this from the three dots menu > Exclude from taste profile.

If you have a Family subscription, it's also worth considering Spotify Kids.
